Welcome to www.DanTruitt.com, the on-line home of my campaign for State Representative.  I want to thank you for taking the time to visit and find out a little more about me, my campaign for State Representative and my ideas for the future of our state.

Like so many of you, I have grown tired of a state government that seems to always want more of our hard-earned money but gives too little back in return.  That is why I have stepped forward to run – to make a positive difference and put taxpayers first again in Harrisburg.

I am not a politician.  In fact, I have never run for office before.  What I am is a concerned citizen like you…someone who knows our state is on the wrong track and that the politicians have had their chance to fix it and failed.

As your State Representative, I will bring common sense to Harrisburg – along with real world business experience and the concerns of a husband, father and working taxpayer.  Once there, I will put our priorities first: reining in out-of-control spending, providing real property tax relief, changing the way Harrisburg does business, and protecting the quality-of-life in our community.

I hope that, after reading through this website, you will take the time to join my campaign team and maybe even contribute to the campaign.

Most importantly, I hope you will e-mail me any ideas, comments or suggestions you may have about how we can all work together to make state government better for all of us.  After all, it is you I want to represent in the State House and the more you let me know your concerns, the better I will be able to do!
